Head in for high tea: Eliza’s Manor

The practice of taking ‘high tea’ originated in the 1700s, when it was traditionally taken while standing or sitting on “high” stools. Thankfully, it has now evolved into a more relaxing occasion.

Built in 1861, Eliza’s Manor provides the perfect ambience for an authentic high tea experience. Petite delicacies, made by Eliza’s own bakers and pastry chefs, bottomless Harney and Sons tea and filter coffee served in authentic fine bone china, are all part of the occasion, enjoyed with beautiful live music to set the mood.

Book your Huia High Tea at Eliza’s Manor online or by calling 03 366 8584. Served Saturdays from 12pm to 2pm.
